lomatopo
There are obviously many legal, official, non-pirated paid sources for many, many, many TV shows like Breaking Bad. NetFlix iTunes Hulu Google Play Amazon and maybe another 50+ sources. Some/all of these may require the use of a VPN.
Phil Conners
If VPN is required to see a program in Thailand it is generally because the distributor does not want it to be seen here, at least that is the case for Netflix and Hulu. Even though you could watch the program from a streaming source there could be good reasons why some people would still download the program through torrents. For example, Danish DR distribute most of their programming using flash video technology, for complete legal viewing anywhere in the world, without VPN or anything, but due to the poor network connection in Thailand it is often useless, breaking up, pauses while the network is catching up. An easy way around this problem would be to download the content before viewing, and logically it ought not to make any difference, but that's just not how it is. Tywais
As for my closure of the Breaking Bad download request topic. It was specifically looking for torrent downloads which would be illegal. I am familiar with the legal alternatives but the OP in the other topic was too specific to allow it to continue to run. Just for clarification. Chicog
You can also watch it legally on XBMC. *Wink*
Phil Conners
No, you can not watch it *legally* on XBMC. It's the same as watching it through VPN or proxy server, it's illegal.
Tywais
Two posts recommending piracy (torrents) have been removed. Reread my post #3.
bkksiam
Netflix gives a free month when you sign up first. so you can watch all the episodes without paying the monthly subscription. Since Netflix is not officially available in thailand use a chrome extension called zenmate which is free for now.
Langsuan Man
If torrent's are illegal in Thailand, why do all ISP's permit it ? Seems to me MCOT has no problems censoring whatever they want here !
