Towards the end of my last trip to Bangkok, i realised that it was Southern Thai food i much preferred as i like chilli hot food.

I didn't have a lot of time left to build up a "collection" of restaurants to visit, and i know they are in short supply in Bangkok.

Anybody have any more to add to my list for Bangkok? Must be within a reasonable walk of the BTS or even MRT for that matter.

Thonglor:

Baan Ice - pricey, but very nice food and restaurant.

I am aware of the other restaurants in Thonglor and intend to check them out.

Right next to ratchathewi BTS - mid price range - nice enough food.

Not been there yet.

I will be in Pattaya for 1 month too, but i do not know any there, so any recommendations would be welcomed...and checked out!

If you're willing to stop half way there is one on Chonburi city only been once as my backside exploded within 10 minutes of finishing.
