catweazle08 Posted May 10, 2014 Share Posted May 10, 2014 When we visited Wat Arun, we found these orange scarfes with different writings on it. see attachement we have no idea what´s this about? who and why does anyone write on these "scarfs" (i don`t even know if you should call it scarf) can anyone help us out? thx in advance. bina Posted May 10, 2014 Share Posted May 10, 2014 sak yant amulets... they are blessed by monks and givent to men... my husband had one given to him when in israeli jail (visa probls.) and he used it to store his amulets as like a folded up pouch... moving to budhism forum for more info..
