Visa Run

Featured Replies

I'm a British passport holder with a triple entry tourist visa in Bangkok.

Soon I need to activate my second entry and wondered where the quickest and cheapest place to do a visa run is.

I can get to Cambodia no problem by car by my own means but if I do a visa run there, do I need to have a visa or can I just go to the border and get a second stamp?

Is there possibly any easier way with a good visa run company?

Any info is much appreciated.

Thank you

At any crossing you must enter the other country.

You can do it yourself to Cambodia but you must get a visa on arrival when you get there or apply for a e-visa ( http://evisa.mfaic.gov.kh ).

You can also go to the crossing at Ban Phu Nam Ron that is closer to Bangkok and is less crowded and without the touts you will find at the Cambodia crossings. See:http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/671963-new-kanchanaburi-border-crossing-open/

The quickest way to do visa runs is to go to Baan Phunamron border. Here is the information about this border. Please check it out:
