Regardless of which part of Thailand you're in, every bar with a western clientèle has at least one ex SAS / Special Forces customer. Such highly trained personnel have mainly chosen to work as EFL teachers for a pittance instead of taking lucrative contracts with one of the private security contractors. Strange that.
