With Immigration, I always err on the side of caution and get a bank letter dated the same day as I apply for my yearly extension.

The Kasikorn bank under the Immigration office in CW issues a bank letter on the spot. However, as this is not possible due to the closure of CW, I am wondering if the Kasikorn bank on Lad Prao Rd (nearly opposite LP) will issue a letter on the spot.

Anyone had dealings with that branch with regards to a letter?

I thought I'd better add that my wife called them and got 3 different answers!! ( 1 said yes, 1 said no, and 1 didn't know and said it was up to the manager!!!)

From recent reports they have been accepting applications with a letter dated the day before the application. But they do want an update of the bank book on the same day.
