Jockstar Posted June 16, 2006 Share Posted June 16, 2006 Derek who owns and runs the Winking Frog pub and team has asked me to post this. Derek plays rugby for the Bangkok Bangers. This rugby team is made up of mostly over 40 year old players. The idea has been batted around about playing a friendly game.ie 20 minutes of football and then 20 minutes of rugby. So what he is looking for is lads who fancy a bit of fun and enjoy rugby/football. Your fitness doesnt have to be of the highest. The rugby is played as the old man rules. No high challenges etc etc. Guys over 40 will be first choice but anyone and everyone is invited to play in this. Hes looking for about 16-20 players. So guys if you are keen you can get in touch with me or email Derek at the Winking Frog [email protected] The date for this is provisionaly for the weekend after the World Cup final. There will be free food and a drink or 2 involved. So go on get away from you PC and have a good day out. Strips will be provided. It will be played at Patana School Soi Lasselle. GO ON!
