Quiet

Featured Replies

It is quiet in Thailand these days. Even the bar's in Pattaya, I hear. And even the General-Forum here seems to be.

It struck me like a lightning: Are most posters / main advisers / consultants as far as Thai-matters are concerned not even living in Thailand and only post when they are here? (Oct.-Feb. and during songkran)?

And once they are here, is their operational modus: Work the TV-Forums during the day and visit the temples at night?

The thought, having to wait until October before the main posters / advisers / consultants return to the scene from exile is a nightmare.

Cheers.

I love it. Long may it last.

Why you so surprised ?

Were you not aware most experts on all Thai have been visiting almost every year in high season for as long as they can remember.

Most fluent Thai speakers learned it in Isaan

And most property investors know the golden rule of not to buy in Thailand :)

Oh almost forgot , almost all are married to "good girls" and hardly anyone married to an ex hooker so the hookers marrying foreigners is a myth.

OP asked about quantity not quality :):)

Be brave, be unshaken but now you may have about 200'000 more enemies than you had yesterday.

Dont worry , like all "superheroes" they are incognito and will appear when the need or circumstance requires them.

Yes, I am like a finely tuned instrument...thumbsup.gif

I think a number of posters are currently on "holiday" and there are also a number that are offline due to work and travel.

As for tourists, yes it's pretty dead at present

Agree op,i think we need another whereustay thread to fire us up,mind you pp Mcready seems to have taken his mantle, though i suspect they are one and the same.I am here in a little cooler ,thankgod,Petchabun province, looking nice and green now,and with the cloudy weather temps are going down.

Is there one more there to add?

A member with a very large number of posts?

Mind you ... could be a few that fit that bill.

There is one member, and he's a real member at that who I've not seen around for a while. I do hope he's not the guy looking for the gerbil.

JT where are you?

So, to the OP, I say ...
