Construction Worker murdered in Jomtien

PATTAYA: -- Pattaya Police investigated a suspected murder at a Jomtien Village on Monday Night which saw a 37 year old Construction Worker killed.

The incident occurred at the Baan Fah Rim Haad Village off Jomtien Second Road where the body of Khun Chalern was discovered moments after he was allegedly murdered by a group of men playing volleyball on an area of wasteland.

A Burmese friend of the victim, Mr. Wichit aged 42 told Police that Khun Chalern had been earlier drinking Whisky with a friend but the pair ran out of drink so Khun Chalern agreed to walk to a nearby convenience store and purchase more.

What on earth is this world coming to? Its just sick now. It's nothing to do with the country where this has happened, its EVERYWHERE !

So many times you see a street fight on TV, could be any country, one man gets knocked down. Then a bystander coward or two, see a chance to vent some anger, run over and start kicking and stomping the poor loser. Doc

Maybe, but seems par for the course in Thailand.

And of course in other countries where the men are short in stature, with an emotionally restrictive culture and are full of resentment.

Not so...the victim would not be walking to secure more whisky...in most Muslim countries...

Resentment runs deep...among the different local nationalities...jockeying for low paying jobs...easy prey for Thai thugs...
