eddi
TigerairMandala are closing down at the end of the month. This leaves only the "legacy" airlines, Thai and Garuda, flying between the capitals of Thailand and Indonesia at 3 times the price! (AirAsia moved to Don Muang way back) Hopefully another LC airline will take over the route, NokAir or........?
Briggsy
Last time I checked Don Meuang was in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand. I assume you must be referring to connecting flights??
CNXBKKMAN
Don't Lionair (or Thai Lionair )fly between DMK and CGK? They are low cost. Kuwait Airlines flys from BKK also and can be reasonable.
moojar
Air Asia are supposed to be setting up a hub in Bali too - like they have just done with Thai Air Asia X at Don Meuang. Hell, you could probably get a ferry from Bali to Jakarta for 25c or so. Serious tight-<deleted> need serious inconvenience to save serious money. :-D (I've slept a night in SIN airport to fly Scoot and save $400, don't worry!) madmitch
All LCCs use Don Mueang now so if you want the convenience of BKK you have to pay for a full-service airline.
ldnguy
Air Asia still fly Bangkok to Jakarta. I got a flight recently. Don't you know that DM is in Bangkok?

No Thai Lionair does not fly Don Muang to Jakarta...a pity because earlier this month I had a good experience to fly with them to Medan via Hat Yai on a day that Airasia did not have direct flight Don Muang to Medan. Stocky
Thai Lion do fly from Bangkok DM to Jakarta daily as do Air Asia.
CNXBKKMAN
Thai Lion do fly from Bangkok DM to Jakarta daily as do Air Asia. That's what I thought. Lionair offer a through ticket from Chiang Mai via DMK to Jakarta.
