    A news source is reporting that well known, former Police volunteer, Lars-Goran Dikander (Colin) has passed away aged 66.

    Yes, the news we cannot quote does report that Lars died in hospital in Chumpon province on Monday morning. He was aged 66.

    I first met 'Colin' maybe 8 years ago when he was working for the Kusoldharm Foundation. His knowledge of both English and Thai languages was appalling...his dedication to helping others was without limits.

    As you can see from the video clip, Colin was definitely a bit of an eccentric, but someone who had a big heart in the right place.

    I saw him many times with his bike and lights. Quite a character.

    One of a kind, but a nice guy with a real motor.

    I don't understand the need for the headline porn about his 'predicting his own death', especially without including any specific details.

    I think he deserved better given his contributions to the island.
