Pattaya To Hold Free HIV Blood Test On VCT Day


PATTAYA – July 1, 2014 [PDN];- at 14.00 pm. Mr.Ittipol Khunpleum-mayor of Pattaya- chaired the opening ceremony of VCT Day with Pol.Capt.Kanrapa Mukdasanit-female police officer and director of disease controlling department-. Many bar girls attended the activity.

The Ministry of public health and NHSO (National Health Security Office) on the 1st July 1st was announced as VCT Day (the HIV test campaign day) in order for people to check their HIV status to see if they are clean or are infected with the virus. Plus if a person is infected with HIV they can be cured for free.

Mr.Ittipol said that nowadays HIV has spread among people because they don’t get checked and don’t know if they are carrying the virus or not. As a result of this, HIV has spread among people. According to NHSO data indicated that in 2012 there were 562,541 people who were examined for HIV test and 17,290 of them positive Therefore the Ministry of public health need to campaign and urge people to examine their health especially gays, bar girls and drug addicts so that they can be cured on time.

This is news, how did the rest of the world miss this, they have a cure for HIV in Pattaya. w00t.gifw00t.gif
