angelsephemera
I need t oshift a fuse box 20cm to the right and up. I am leary toying with the mains connections, should I get a sparky to do this or could i just cut a slot in the wall and move the unit myself? Crossy
Unless you have a means of isolating the incoming supply (no not pulling the wires out at the meter) I would get your local sparks to do it. Watch for him extending wires that are too short with twist-n-tape joints, at least use wire-nuts.
angelsephemera
Thanks, Yeah I'm tired of seeing them tape wire instead of using terminal blocks etc. I will check there is some play in the mains cables.
