What suspension settings would be best

Recommended Posts

90kg rider on stock versys

I'm probably heavier than its set up for

But 20-70kg heavier than its set up for (gf included makes the 70 lol) as I read they are set for a 68kg rider in Asia?

It still handles great and ha never bottomed out but of course if I could make it better then why not?

Front and back are adjustable so it's just a matter of twisting a few things but make it looser or tighter I what I've been wondering........

Best is you start play around from the base setting. Few clicks harder, softer whatever you need; note it; do a test drive. To soft set it harder until you feel comfortable; or vice versa. You should ride always the same route while test driving.

lots of resources over the net about it.

you need to measure the sag at front and rear.

not sure what type of adjustments versys is offering. compression and rebound set up are bit more complicated but you can start with measuring the sag.
