July 5, 201412 yr Okay so, quite a while ago. I went to Bangkok, to VFS. I was renewing my Aussie permanent residency visa for another 5 years. Only problem was; I paid the 12k baht, and everything else. But, I ran into the problem after this. 6 months or more down the road now. I do not have the new visa in my passport. Because when I paid my 12k, the guy at VFS just gave my passport back. I then went on my way, and headed back to Chiang Mai. What the hell did I do wrong here?Is my visa electronically online? Or did they forget to print my visa? Why would they give me the passport back? On top of this, I am going to Australia tomorrow, so I better get this out of the way >.< Thanks!
July 5, 201412 yr Australia is now visa label-free. This means you do not need a visa label in your passport to travel to, enter or stay in Australia. If you request a visa label, please see Visa Evidence Charge for further information on the pricing of your visa label. http://www.immi.gov.au/FAQs/Pages/how-much-will-a-label-cost.aspx Recommend that you follow up with an email to the Aus Embassy to confirm.
