Nice try, but no cigar. So, according to you, the people at NASA and ESA are all a bunch of morons that have never taken a course and never read a book? There is nothing in Vivian U's video that supports your contention that galaxy mergers will extinguish all life in the merged galaxy. She's speaking about astrophysics as it pertains to this phenomenon. You seem to be obsessed with a common myth and you're listening to and reading things you don't really understand all while engaging in an ad hominem attack on me. Whatever. If that makes you happy, go for it. I stand by my contention. Over the history of the known universe, galaxy mergers regularly occur. That's how many large galaxies get to be so large in the first place. In any event, interstellar distances are so vast that life, to the extent there is any in the merged galaxy, will be largely unaffected. Maybe a real astrophysicist can straighten you out sometime. Or, we can wait around a few billion years and see what happens. Of course, Earth will have long since been fried to a crisp by the expanding sun.
