I'm sorry if I'm being mean, but if your writing here on this forum is reflective of your real world writing skills, you have a long, long way to go. Good luck :o

I don't know!!!

she's used: 'going to + infinitive', a modal verb to express internal obligation and the 1st conditional all appropriately and fairly accurately. Some inappropriate lexis choice - 'obviously', but has used the collocation 'study abroad' appropriately. Not bad Miss Bambina. PB is a decent bloke and will give you good support.

So let me get this right, she's mastered those finer points of grammar but can't use capitals and fullstops in sentences?

C'mon, guys. BambinA is not a teacher - she's looking for one. The only blokes or blokettes who get held to a high standard are English teachers posting on teaching forums, especially when they're putting somebody else down.

And to give mbkudu credit, he apologized if he was sounding mean, and tried to let her know that, if her post was an example of her writing skills, she had a long way to go. Polite enough.

By the way, BambinA's not the only one looking for help out there.

I'll give her the benefit of the doubt in that a lot of people, native speakers especially, tend to write much more hastily and crudely in internet communication than they do in more formal writing. I am

American so I'm not too familiar with the IELTS, but I believe it is quite a difficult test. I'll go along with all the other posters here and give any help I can give. BTW, Bambina, you have great tits!

I beg to differ with you. If she had done what you have said then she would have written, "i'm going to to study abroad next year."

Bambi,

If you want to improve your writting then you might try making all of your posts error free....and then have someone....or everyone... PM you for comments.....just a thought.

I wouldn't normally be a pedant, but you're a little confused matey. You're 'correction' is incorrect and you're attempt at using a 3rd conditional sentence is also incorrect.

Entirely possible. Or she is deliberately emulating the freer/sloppier style used in Internet communication, especially chatting, by many native speakers. Whichever it is, I am sure she will be able to master correct punctuation quite quickly.

Well spotted! I wondered how long it would take someone to spot those intentional errors. (actually the brain was a little fragile at the time of writing due to the previous night's activity)
