Bus number 29 and 510.

On the main road right opposite the Don Muang Airport

This should be corrected a little lest you end up in Rangsit!! Vihavadi-Rangsit rd is very large 4-5 lanes each way.

Opposite means on the other side (where DM Railway station is located) which is northbound. What you want is the bus stop in front of the airport (southbound).

It is very easy to access. At arrivals there is an entry (near Exit 6) which takes you up to the Pedestrian Link to Amari hotel and the DM railway station. An elevator is located just near. Use this and exit down the first very narrow stairs on the right which lead down to the road. There is a bus stop just nearby. (Many thais also use this to catch taxis and you'll see a line of taxis as well)

From airport:

1.DO heed that not all buses 29/510 run as far as Vict.Mon-quite a lot stop short at Mochit/BTS-it is marked on them. Maybe the helpful explaining pamflet is still there glued at the stop (in JPNese, Chinese and English)

2.of course-Or Q-there are also vans-and very frequent too, via tollway and very fast-30 bt. for the ride. You have to be able to read Thai, as there are many routes passing DMK. After reorganisation to make us all so happy, I DK where the current stand at VicMon now is.

3.and rot ruam-yellow AC bus, also runs , not that frequent, a Tollway route-if you catch it, likely the fastest, except for jams on DinDaeng
