Travellers Palm

This is one of my favorite plants, I love the symmetry. Mine is looking a bit ragged due to some high winds but I bought this plant 4 1/2 years ago and it was less than 3 feet tall. Now it is over 12 feet.

Do they orientate themselves, or, do they keep the orientation they are planted with?

Mine turned itself. I planted it parallel to the bungalow and it slowly turned so that the fans pointed east to west. Fortunately the bungalow is situated facing north west and I didn't plant it right next to the room or it could have been difficult tearing the bungalow down and moving it

Fantastic. Imagine an east/west driveway lined with the things.

very nice. they should plant some of these in deserts to help travellers.
