I have been paying for 512/256. At first on some rare occasions got 400/200. OK

As promised speeds have been decling for all, to no avail- I changed to 256/128.

In your contract it states a change is 200 baht. OK

They are trying to improve it - they have no choice. Having said that and I take what they say with

a grain of salt.....I tested this evening and this is the closet to the ratio of what I should be getting.

TCP/Web100 Network Diagnostic Tool v5.3.3e

click START to begin

Checking for Middleboxes . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Done

running 10s outbound test (client to server) . . . . . 122.85Kb/s

running 10s inbound test (server to client) . . . . . . 172.21kb/s

Your PC is connected to a Cable/DSL modem

click START to re-test

Interested in what others are getting now.

Best of Luck! :o

My Ipstar speeds for my 512 / 256 service at 8.30pm today are

click START to begin

Checking for Middleboxes . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Done

running 10s outbound test (client to server) . . . . . 161.32Kb/s

running 10s inbound test (server to client) . . . . . . 127.37kb/s

Your PC is connected to a Cable/DSL modem

click START to re-test

So not any better and a very expensive service. Perhaps I will return to the 256 / 128 service if they have not resolved the problem by the end of July.

I originally had the 256 / 128 and foolishly upgraded because the speeds I was getting were very good ie 80% of the rated speed. Not so with the so called faster servive. Speeds roughly the same for 1500+ baht more per month.

Another thing: With the 512/256 the Up is faster than the Down! Notice? I had similar results evertime!

Spot on! I'll keep the 1,500. This seems the only (sort-of) workable package..... :o
