Annual extensions based on natural Thai child of over 20 years old

She is wrong on all points.

If you have an extension of stay based upon marriage it does not go away upon her death. That is an immigration rule.

You need to talk to somebody there that truly knows the rules.

I know, but it was a shock and it took time for me to calm down and think things through.

As a backup to the rule that your extension does not go away here is a copy of the form that immigration has you sign when you do an an extension to acknowledge the conditions of your extension.
