homemade514
Going to chiang rai immigration office tomorrow morning to apply for a 60-day extension based on marriage and am wondering if they have TM-7 forms to fill out there do you think? I don't have a printer and don't want to head into town unless I have to to go and print off an application at a shop. Also, typically (as i've never applied for this before) is this a 5 minute process or 1 hour process or do I leave and come back? How does it usually work? Thanks! Be careful with this. If married in Thailand there are two different documents. Some immigration offices require both. The Khor Ror 3 is the nice certificate with the colorful rosy border on it and both of your names. The Khor Ror 2 is a copy of the Amphur's marriage registry. It might be a good idea to call ahead and ask if they require the KR2 before heading out. A month ago Jomtien wanted to KR2 for 60 extensions based on marriage. The KR3 wasn't enough.
