Banglamung officially opens complaint center

n5complaint.jpg
Banglamung District officially has opened its government complaint center aimed at solving problems and better communicating with residents, as per an order from the National Council for Peace and Order.

Establishment of the complaint centers comes after the NCPO ordered local governments to set up facilities to offer information and advice to public, a direct method to file complaints with public agencies, provide one-stop service counters, hear problems or take recommendations from the public.

Covering the greater Pattaya area, the so-called “damrongtham” is located on the 2nd floor of the Banglamung District Office on Sukhumvit Road, just past the Naklua intersection, and is open during normal business hours, 8.30-16.30. - See more at: http://www.pattayamail.com/localnews/banglamung-officially-opens-complaint-center-40360#sthash.w0wu4Tsv.dpuf

So So True

I am just wondering with tourism on he decrease and restaurants and buildings being knocked down
People being refused visas

Just interested how much money Thailand has in it's bank as they seem to be pushing people away
I don't think its a question of Refusing peoples visa" they just want people to have the correct visas.Plus why should farang enter Thailand and take jobs from the Thais!?
I lived in the Canary islands for 20 years, the islands income was 95 percent tourism (5% bananas & tomato's) but in Thailand I don't think they would be to bothered if " we all cleared off " we are only a small income to the country.(well I most certainly am! lol ) x
It's all very well to be able to file a complaint. The big question is whether anyone is going to act on it. Noisy karaoke bar at 4am? Good luck with that.
Wait a minute ...
District Chief Sakchai Taengho said Aug. 8 that the complaint center will focus on such issues as drugs, deforestation and public-land encroachment, illegal labor, human trafficking and judicial mediation.

Aren't most of these issues law enforcement issues? Shouldn't the district office be focussing on civic problems? Very confusing.
