Sister Visiting

Featured Replies

Hi,

I am going to be moving to thailand at the end of the year, my little siter wants to come and visit me for a month or more. She is from south africa, I was wondering what the requirements for her would be, would she get 30 days when she lands in thailand or just 15? can i renew her visa stay for longer if she wants to stay? and what sort of visa does she have to get if she wants to have a working holiday (if that is allowed in thailand). Are there any forms we need to fill out etc? I cannot seem to find a embassy for Thailand in South Africa with a good email address.

1. She would receive a 30 day entry without visa.

2. This can not be extended more than a few days.

3. She could depart country and return for another 30 days or obtain a tourist visa and return for 60 days.

4. You can not work on visa free entry or a tourist visa.

5. She could obtain a tourist visa from (may be required if no onward transportation within 30 days so highly advised)
