Non-degree program - Ramkhamhaeng university

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I am intereting in non-degree business programs at Ramkhamhaeng university.

I have read that university offers flexible programs at a low cost.

However I have also read attendence is required.

I work and I cannot sometimes fit my agenda to university classes.

I would like to study at home only with some books and textnotes and then take exams at the end of semester.

Has someone already experienced that university? What is your opinion?

Do you think it can be anyway possible?

Best regards,

Jm Fangio

Since you say you want to study on your own, and not get a degree, why don't you just buy some books at the bookstore on the subjects you're interested in? Most will have tests to check how you are doing.

Same results.

Hello,

Actually I have thought of this idea but books cannot replace teachers.

What I meant is having the possibility to study at home if necessary but going to lectures when I am available.

Moreover it is always better to get an university recognition with tests, I could show my results to potential employers.

You will be lucky to find teachers at Ramkhamhaeng. Mostly the students turn up, or not, and watch a video. Look at the course books on sale in the street. That will give you an idea of the educational 'content'

It is not a serious educational establishment

I have already taken some courses with those systems like Coursera and Udacity.

Do you know whether Thailand offers some certificate programs?

For example in North America you can take several courses and study them for one semester, take exams and then get a certificate of completion.

I have tried to find this kind of education program in Thailand but haven't got any result so far.
