Honest and Straight Talking Lawyer

Featured Replies

Does anyone know of an honest, straight talking lawyer in the Bangkok / Chonburi area? If you have had a good experience with one, let me who they are. Thanks

you dont mention what legal services you require

but you will not go wrong with one of the lawyers from Tilleke & Gibbons, highly recommended

good luck to find one cross fingers take lucky rabbit and all other lucky trinkets then go to local bar get same advise cheap

If honest and straight talking he would have studied engineering and not make his money with bending laws.....

thank you for a straight forward answer....it is very much appreciated on this deficient and mostly useless website. It is always nice to hear from the more sincere on this site rather than the 99% of rubbish posters

thanks again

Well Soutpeel may have had a good experience with them but I most certainly did not. They were .... Well I can't say because it would be defamation even though perfectly true. Find another would be my advice.

I should also add that most lawyers seem to be utterly incompetent and lacking even basic law knowledge and that includes procedure. Grab yourself a copy of the appropriate codes and procedure guides and double check everything. Be sure to check the claim and what is being asked of the court, check defenses are made in time and if not that the appropriate application is made. Thai lawyers are expert at making it look like they are doing something whist setting the foreigner up to lose and there are many ways to do it. Don't trust anyone!

Seems that you will need one good lawyer, indeed... for defamation after calling this website "deficient and mostly useless" and 99% of its posters "rubbish" (yeah, count me also in those 99%)! ;):P

Any suggestions for lawyers ?, well I'm sure that many people have but posting them would undoubtedly attract negative responses, earned or not, so you would be non the wiser.

I would suggest that you find the top legal firms in your own country that have offices in Bangkok and take it from there.

Given the OP's opinion of this forum and members there is little point leaving this open.
