August 30, 201411 yr Just buy a Roku and/or Apple TV in your home county (they won't ship outside of the designated area, so a friend or relative will need to ship it on to you) geo masking DNS installed in your router and you're good to go You can buy the Apple TV in Thailand as well: http://store.apple.com/th/appletv If you buy it here, it won't have the same apps. Licensing restrictions limit what they load into regional firmware If you set in settings your apple store to the US you will get all the apps. There are no restrictions in the firmware, the device you buy in Thailand is exactly the same as abroad. To actually access Netflix et all you will need a service that bypasses geo-blocking. August 31, 201411 yr Try http://jsat.tv/index.html I think it is worth the 8500baht. This is a real question I am not saying anything negative about the box set up. But as this is appears to be basically XBMC, does the box offer anything that you can not get by downloading and installing XBMC yourself. I had XBMC set up and running but my internet was just too slow to make it work correctly Edited August 31, 201411 yr by dinger
