Aaron Kosminski (Mordke) wasn't Polish from his family background (siblings of Aaron Mordke was named Pessa Elka, Hinde, Icek Szymche, Blimbe Laje), and they haven't been Polish citizens as there wasn't country such Poland between 1795-1918. At best it proves he may have had (paid) sex with her sometime that evening. Now if they could find similar evidence at another crime scene. The thinking is that the shawl was quite elaborate and expensive, so unlikely to have belonged to the victim, and it must have been brought to the scene by the ripper.
