As pointed out above, you do NOT need a return flight. Any onward flight within 60 days is fine. This onward flight MAY be required by airline to issue boarding pass at departure. Two options to obtain onward flight is buy cheapest flight out of Thailand OR use rent a ticket. Chinese Man Rescued After Three Days Trapped in Well
A Chinese man was rescued early on November 24 after being trapped in a 10 metre deep well for three days in a forested area near Ban Wang Takhian Tai, Village 7, Tha Sai Luat Subdistrict, Mae Sot District, Tak Province. Soldiers from the Rajamanu Task Force (Special Unit) under Infantry Company 433 responded to reports from local villagers who had heard faint cries for help coming from the forest over three consecutive days. Upon investigation, the team located the man at the bottom of the well. The Rajamanu Task Force worked alongside Mae Sot rescue services to safely extract the man. Found in a confused and incoherent state, he was suffering from severe dehydration, along with cuts and bruises from the fall. Fortunately, no fractures were detected. Unable to walk, he was carried out of the forest and transported to Mae Sot Hospital for further medical examination and treatment. Authorities believe the man, a Chinese national whose identity has not been disclosed, had been walking alone in the forest when he accidentally fell into the open well. With no reports of him being missing, the circumstances of his presence in the area remain unclear. The man recounted his harrowing ordeal to rescuers, explaining that he survived by consuming moisture within the well. His calls for help gradually weakened as his strength faded over the days. Villagers praised the swift and coordinated efforts of the task force and rescue teams, which ensured the man’s survival after his prolonged entrapment. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the incident, seeking to understand the reasons behind the man’s presence in the remote area. Picture from responders. -- 2024-11-25 -

Homeless Man Throws Concrete Block and Injures Chinese Tourist in Pattaya
By Aim Tanakorn Pattaya — A female Chinese tourist was injured in South Pattaya after a homeless man threw a concrete block at her on the night of November 23rd, 2024. At 9:26 PM, the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Rescue Center received a report of a tourist being injured by a homeless man in front of a hotel in the Bali Hai area of South Pattaya. Rescue officials coordinated with Pattaya police to investigate the scene. There, officers found the victim, Ms. Lianghizi Lyu, a 21-year-old Chinese national. She had sustained a minor scrape on her left leg caused by the rock. Rescue workers provided her with first aid before taking her to a local hospital. What is the process for filing the evisa non o for a spouse?
I see. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I'm trying to navigate all this with a traumatic brain injury. It is very confusing when I get conflicting information from everybody here and conflicting information from online sources. I was of the understanding that immigration at the airport would look and see if I have a round trip ticket or not whether they approve my entry tourist visa. -
