Wonder if anyone has advice -

I had a triple entry tourist visa issued last december from London. Have been back in the UK for 2 months. I called them today and they said there would be no issue applying for another tourist visa - I plan to return in a few weeks - will be travelling around the region and want some flexibility.

Ideally I would get another triple entry but wonder if will be issues since I just spent 6 months in Thailand on the last.

Any thoughts? Apply for a double then review in a few months - and get another in the region? Do you think Imm will be against two subsequent triple entry visas?

thanks in advance

I was wondering the same.

Since October 2013 my passport has the following:

1. Tourist visa used in October 2013 for 60+30 days,

2. Visa exempt stamp in February 2014 (stayed for a week)

3. Tourist visa used in March 2014 for 60+30 days

Between these visits I've been in Hong Kong (where I was working), but now I'm back in Europe again, but all entries have longer periods outside Thailand between them, so in that sense I should not even mistakenly be considered a "visa runner".

I now plan on making my next "trip" to Thailand and was thinking of getting a Double Entry Tourist Visa, which basically means 180 days with one border-run in-between.

However, you never really know what happens at immigration, do you? I've never felt unsure about entering Thailand before, but with the latest crackdown, I have a bad feeling. I wouldn't be surprised if the Thai embassy here issued me a Tourist Visa, only to be rejected at immigration on arrival. And then what do I do?

It's a shame they made the rules so unclear.....here we are on some online forum trying to make sense of it all, when they could have just written CLEAR rules. Now there seems to be no official limit to how many Tourist Visas one can actually have within a year or in a row?
