where to renew my mobile phone internet?

Featured Replies

hi , do I need to renew my mobile internet package in tuckom or can I do it in a seven eleven?

and btw I have the 400 baht per month package which is very fast , does anyone here has any experience with the 300 baht and 150 baht a month packages , are they good?

Perhaps you can tell us what package you have and with which provider ?

For example, AIS packages can be done at their branches in say, BigC Pattaya Klang and elsewhere.

The provider is truemove. i have 400 baht a month package.

One option is the True shop in Central Festival Plaza at the basement level towards the back (if you come in from 2nd Road).. You can in fact buy cards with credit at many places including 7-Eleven, but I think you need to input the correct code to activate the chosen package, and i preferred to let the True staff do it for me.

You can sign up for a monthly plan and pay each bill when it comes in. Or you can pre-pay by buying enough top-up card money to cover your plan, which you have to activate using a shortcode. Call the True help line to get the short code.

If you are using a Truemive H prepaid sim go to the following website on you device and you can see your balance and select a plan that lasts a month or will reoccur monthly...

I use the 1gb monthly reoccurring for 199 a month...

thank you guys for the answers.

sfokevin I logged to their website , it looks like I have a tourist sim card (I bought 500 baht credits).

can I change it to a normal sim card instead?

and it's written there that the expiry date is 3 months after I bought my and credits.

is my tourist card only valid for 3 months? or are my 500 baht credits only valid for 3 months?

Go into the true shop in Festival Central Plaza and they will answer all your questions .....

ok steven , i just hope the staff there speak better english than the true move staff in their office near tukcom. cause their english speaking abilities are very bad.

Every month AIS sends a message for me to make sure there is enough credit on my phone and they extend my service. I don't have to go anywhere.

Calling True usually quickly take me to a customer rep speaking fluent English.

and it's written there that the expiry date is 3 months after I bought my and credits.

This thread http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/630471-extending-the-validity-of-your-truemove-sim-card/ covers extending TrueH SIM validity in mind-numbing detail. Basically it will cost you 3B for 30 days and can be done from your phone. If you top-up it's free, of course.

True have a fairly good app that you can download to your phone/tablet that shows validity and balance and also allows you to subscribe to various packages. It's mostly in English.
