Hey everyone,

Sorry if this has been covered. I'm sure it has, I just couldn't find it.

Right now I have three double entry tourist visas from Vientiane. My current one will expire in about 6 weeks. They put a blue stamp stating for me to show proof of residence and financial income next time.

I talked with a visa agent and he told me I could go to PP and get a single entry permit without trouble. I know no one can say for sure, but does this seem true?

I'd plan to fly into PP, apply for the single entry tourist visa, and then fly back into BKK. What do you think are the chances this will work and I won't get turned away at the airport? I don't have the extra cash for an ED visa right now so that isn't an option.

Any advice is much appreciated.

Thanks.

In Phnom Phen when using an agent there is no problem obtaining the visa.

Otherwise you could go to Savannakhet for a double entry tourist visa, issued the same day without an agent.

You should be able to get a single entry visa in PP but you will need to use an agent unless you want to wait up to 4 days to get it.

You will not have a problem on entry. There is no restriction on tourist visa entries.

Yes I think so, or they would tell you what can be done. Bring a bank statement to support the fact that you have the means to sustain yourself and you are not working illegally.

Wow.

Three double entry tourist visas but

not enough money to buy an educational visa(oops learn Thai)

but enough money to live for a year without working.

I wonder why immigration is suspicious.

My advice: don't get caught.
