I need to do my final 60 day activation on a triple entry tourist visa within the next week & would like to check that any of you guys have recently done the crossing to Andaman club without any problems please?

I wish to do the crossing this weekend,stayfor one night at the Andaman club & then return back into Thailand.

I would appreciate any feedback from you guys as to whether this is still ok to do or if anything has changed recently.

I appreciate this has been discussed many times on various forums but visa rules seem to be changing all the time currently from various borders.

Any help would be much appreciated from you guys.

I was there last month as I have a non-o m based on marriage. There was only two of us there but the girl in front of me who had a tourist visa got a real hard time. The immigration guy made her write down the address of her hotel in Surat Thani twice (it then looked like he googled it to double check), he also kept on asking her repeatedly about what she was doing in Thailand, how long she had been here and checking her arrival dates. He then made her get a print out of her bank statement from the ATM at the Andaman Club before letting her go on her way.

it has to be said though, this girl was dressed in short pants and a bikini top with one of those plastic fold up bags that all the scuba diving crowd use. She looked like she had just come from the beach and could well have been a scuba diving instructor.

If you can provide you are a genuine tourist then you'll have nothing to worry about.
