I am looking for the best visa for spending time in Thailand.

With the Retirement Visa - are you required to stay in the country for a specific time each year? ie: in Costa Rica, you must be in the country 6 out of 12 months.

With the Retirement Visa - are you required to stay in the country for a specific time each year? ie: in Costa Rica, you must be in the country 6 out of 12 months.

As far as I know there is no minimum length of stay other than be in Thailand for a day within one month of the renewal date to apply for a new 1 year stay. I have been on a 1 year extension based on retirement and have a multi re-entry permit valid until the end of my period of stay.

I am more out of Thailand than in.
