Top left corner. Can anyone make that out? I'm not even sure it's Thai, though it was written by a Thai. If it was English, looks like Ho Trash 13... Or.. Hot Rash 13 :|

My guess as everything is recorded on paper it's just a simple ref number and if wrong i'm sure no certain someone will put me down lol.

So whatever it maybe it wont affect the actual visa itself.

Its not written in Thai, as you say say simple ref, take a look at the third and fourth letters, TR, now check the visa, TR, I would imagine the rest is a ref for the issuing office.

HO = holder?

TR = Tourist Visa.

The rest = issuing office?

Hmm,.. Interesting. Okay. I don't see this above any of my other tourist visas. So was curious. Thanks for your time.

IF it is in Thai, this is what I divine.

1) The first bit looks like "ต่อ" which means "Add" (from Google Translate)

2) The next bit is "TR", which is the same as your visa Category (TR). I am not sure what TR means.

3) The next bit is hard. I guess it could be the cursive of "ครั้งที่" - which, from Google, translates to "the Nth time"

4) The last bit looks like a "3" or "13"

So my guess would be "TR Visa Extended for the 3rd/13th time".

If you have done this 3 times or 13 times, then this would fit this scenario.

If not, then my Sherlock skills are terrible and you can ignore my post!

OK, hmmm.... maybe visa specialists can shed some light on what got me wondering about that visa:

"proof of residence and financial income are required next time"

...

for a tourist visa ??? how does one have residence in Thailand as a tourist?

To start out, I don't know as I've never seen that language before. But....just guessing....it's talking about the "next time" and I'm guessing that it's somewhat a warning that the holder shouldn't expect another tourist visa. I'm wondering....do they maybe stamp this language when somebody obtains a back-to-back tourist visa (and/or a second tourist visa within a given time period)?

Much more interesting: what is the complete text in red color?

Anyway the "blueprint" tells you clearly: last time that you get a visa with this (incomplete) documentation.

So why you bother too much about the handwritten stuff?

You are heavily "stamped"!

Even a real tourist has to specify an adress in Thailand. Not taken too serious in your home country.

But the topic starter is living in Thailand on consecutive TR visas from a neighbouring country.

So he is the precise target of the visa crackdown.

So my guess would be "TR Visa Extended for the 3rd/13th time".

Very likely in combination with the two red stamps and the blue stamp.

Guess: 3 TR visas in a row.

No need for further discussion the question has already been answered here and on the Thai visa forum.
