duh, because the people here speak Thai?

...... because the other 14 languages I speak are becoming boring

I'm more intersted in learning russian and chinese, as i spend more time with them than i do thais lol.

I'm learning Thai in case I run into a madman who only speaks Thai.

Plus I get bored of talking English in my sleep.

So I can argue with Taxi drivers and abuse ed visas

.................because the last time I ordered a beer I ended up buying a motorbike and sleeping with the ex-owner.

My missus was less than impressed when I introduced her to K. Somchai....................

Granted, he wasn't wearing his high heels and dress when she met him.

Why bother?

because I need an education visa.

So in fact, I am not learning Thai.

I learn how to speak thai cause then it's so much easier to get more friendly with the ladies in Thailand.

You would be surprised how friendly ladies are when you speak their language.
