Wanted: Indian terrorist Jagtar Singh Tara

THAILAND: -- Police in Phuket and elsewhere have been asked to keep an eye out for an Indian terrorist who escaped 10 years ago from prison in India.

Jagtar Singh Tara was doing time for a massive bombing in 1995 that killed Punjab Chief Minister Beant Singh and 17 others.

Jagtar and two others escaped from Burail Maximum Security Jail after tunnelling 29 metres from their cell and under the prison wall.

Releasing pictures of the wanted man, Gen Jatuporn Klumpasut, International Security Operations Command Region 4, said that he had been told by Indian officials that Jagtar had been sighted in Malaysia and was thought to be trying to make his way to Pakistan, possibly through Thailand.

An arrest warrant has already been issued so that Jagtar can be arrested immediately if he is found in Thailand.

SOUTH
Thailand on the hunt for fugitive Indian terrorist

BANGKOK: -- The Internal Security Operations Command (Isoc)'s branch in the south is on a hunt for Indian fugitive terrorist Jaktar Singh Tara, who is believed to be traveling through Thailand.

The Isoc has instructed border control units to screen incoming visitors in a bid to locate Tara who escaped from an Indian prison and plans to travel to Malaysia via the south of Thailand. Indian authorities have recently met representatives of Thailand's Defense Ministry over the matter.

Pictures of Mr. Tara are on local police's online wanted-list and security units in Sungai-Kolok are prepared to make an arrest as soon as a visitor's appearance matched the description.

Releasing pictures of the wanted man, Gen Jatuporn Klumpasut, International Security Operations Command Region 4, said that he had been told by Indian officials that Jagtar had been sighted in Malaysia and was thought to be trying to make his way to Pakistan, possibly through Thailand, reported Phuket News online.

An arrest warrant has already been issued so that Jagtar can be arrested immediately if he is found in Thailand.

The fugitive is believed to be aided by the Islamic State movement. Once he passes through to Malaysia, it is reported that he would try to enter Pakistan to be reunited with other IS extremists.

Why would IS help a Sikh?

Why would a Sikh terrorist scumbag be heading to Pakistan?

In what world would a Sikh be reunited with IS scum, who don't tolerate other forms of Islam, never mind a completely different religion?

Makes no sense at all.

Is this two different people? Amazing what a haircut and a shave can do even without the turban sprawl.

Sikhs consider Muslims their mortal enemy. A large number of Sikh prophets and their families were murdered by Muslims during forced conversions.

I do not believe IS is helping this man nor is he accepting help from them. Pakistan is also a place that I do not believe he is heading to. Pakistani Muslims slaugtherd millions of Sikhs during partition from India. That is unless he is targeting attacks in Pakistan.

Or have they formed a brotherhood of beard and turban wearers!!! Piss poor reporting as usual.

very well said. Read up on why this guy did what he did. Sikhs fight for the justice of humanity and would never seek the shelter of the IS. Never going to ever happen. Read their history.

For Buddha's sake a Sikh isn't even a Muslim and now they label him as a Muslim. Something went wrong in this story.

Ha ha ha.....Sikh terrorist headed for Pakistan aided by IS, what a joke. I would rather beleive Iranian terrorist being helped by Mossad to hide in USA.

Well ... if he's got lots of money, Thailand is a good place for a criminal to live.

Unfortunately it is.

Thank you the voice of reason. And into which category would you wish to be placed?

We are, after all, talking about a terrorist here, not a teacher or doctor.

well he is like marmite, you either hate him or you love him, which is your preference, mine is the last one, he is not a nice person, so who gives a shit except you?

Apparently we have some tv members who do not know how to spell.

Either that or very bad at trying to be funny. I for one am not amused.
