Moving to Ao Nang area- need help!

Featured Replies

My boyfriend and I are hoping to spend around 2 to 3 months in the Ao Nang area starting mid Januaray. there is very little information on what is actually available there. I have read that it's a good idea to stay for a week and look around at some guest houses to stay in. Apparently there are a ton of them for a good price. Is this something you guys would recommend doing? Or should we contact a realestate agent to help us find a place prior to our arival? I know it's pretty hard to find someone to rent out an apartment or anything for less than 6 months or else we would just do that.

Any suggestions about accommodation for 2 to 3 months would be very helpful.

Thanks!

Thank you guys so much! I'll check those out

i have a small bungalow for that period available

pm me for details

Hi,

I stayed there for a few months. If you wait until you get there, if you hirer a motorbike and use Ao nang boxing staduim as a land mark. If you head away from the beach from the stadium follow the road through s-bend and come to a t-junction you'll be able see a small road to the right nearly straight across! Go down that road for 1 minute and you'll see a small shop with 6 houses to let to left shop they are green and detached 8000thb a month cheaper if you stay longer... Sorry I have no number, but I expect there will be one available.(No hot water when the sun is down!)

High season, so many places get booked up early...

Just go to the coffee shops,,and say your looking for somewere,,The owners are connected with property to buy and rent,,If you go to tourist accomadation sellers,You will pay a high price for poor accomadation..Not been there for about 6 years,,But i know there are tons of places,,
