We are looking for a General Manager for our apparel division who has substantial experience in the operation of a garment and clothes manufacturing factory. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing fashion company and work with a dynamic design team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all facets of Apparel operations across the entire factory base (Bangkok & Cambodia).
  • SKU & BOM Management / Product Management / Excess / Obsolete Materials Management.
  • New Product Management, and On Time Delivery.
  • Capacity and resource management to ensure production plan and overhead Cost management.
  • Cost Reduction Strategy & Management (via process and operations improvements).
  • Develop improvement processes to simplify / streamline the production workflow.
  • Define process control standards of in process inspection and final inspection.
  • Prepare and present the efficiency and production performance reports.
  • Manage operational costs (Raw materials + Labor + Overhead) for all products.
  • Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence.
  • Implement structured reporting to the senior management team on a regular basis.
  • Provide timely problem solving decisions and manage the operation according to the company's business strategy and corporate directives.
  • Budget planning in machinery, manpower and factory expenses.
  • Liaise with various departments to meet the company's goals and targets..
  • Partners with Demand Planning to ensure the supply base is compliant with quality, delivery, packaging, and routing requirements.
  • Develops management systems for cost analysis, financial planning, wage and salary administration, and evaluation.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Management or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years experience in managing garment or footwear factory operations and 5 years in managerial level and decision-making.
  • Perfect English skills are required; NES only (US, Can, UK, Aus, NZ, SA)
  • Superlative leadership abilities and a verifiable record demonstrating an ability to influence, strong accountability and superior business acumen.
  • Working knowledge of “lean manufacturing” and industrial engineering.
  • Excellent presentation and computer skills
