Smithson
I have a 2008 Mitsubishi Triton. When I hopped in today, I noticed the ABS light was on. After a short drive, the car seems fine, no apparent problem with the brakes. I could take it to the local Mitsu dealer to check, but have found they are expensive and miss obvious stuff like worn brake pads. I'd prefer to drive 120km to my mechanic in Bkk next week, but am concerned it could be potentially dangerous. Is there anyway to find out? Any guesses to what the problem might be? Thanks in advance. Edited October 31, 2014 by Smithson
Jitar
It will most likely be a bad sensor or wiring issue. Brakes will probably work fine but probably with no ABS. Better to just go to the dealer to repair.
IMHO
What Jitar said, but first, check the fuse
Maybole
I had this with a Volvo. Switching the ignition off, then on quickly fixed it for a short time. I then replaced the relay and that fixed it.
