you are a senior member. Hmm, pls don't throw your weight around. If you don't have any good advise, pls don't ever give your comments.

I am sure there are those people who likes to share their experiences.

More importantly How many square meters is it, if it is an OK size 1m sounds a good price.

Hi Khutan,

sorry about that. It is aroung 40m2 studio about 10 years old. As i would not want to buy something over-valued, i just would like to share with the guys here.

Tks, I appreciate your comments.

Check out Baan Suna Thon near-ish Central, you can pick up a 2 bedroom 60SQM place there for under a million if you look around.

of course its a bit off the beaten path, but the area near Central Bangna is not bad, you have anything you need, a lot of shopping options, public transport, new airport is near, the air is not as bad as in other areas of BKK... you will have your reason to settle around there..... when the BTS extension to Suk Soi 107 is being finished in 2009, u will have an excellent connection to all downtown areas. right now, you can already take the BTS shuttle which departs from the back-entrance of Central and goes to On Nut BTS.

1 Million is just around 20.000 Euro, can hardly be overpriced, me thinks.... but how old is the building ? Did you do some research in that area, checking other places out ? just go inside other Condo buildings and see if there are selling offfers on their blackboards. or browse some of the many Thai websites about selling or renting houses and Condos. If you have a Thai friend to assist you with that, that would be a good way to get an overview about the real estate market in that particular area.

Hi AsiaWolfie,

How about Suk 77 Baan Onnut, I also checked out that place. It is about 1.5m bht for a studio ( 35m2). Very big condo. So, which would you choose, Bangna or Suk 77? Baan Onnut I think is about 2-3km away from Onnut BTS.

well, of course that would be much closer to downtown, but there is not much public transport in Soi On Nut, just the Sawngthaews, and - as far as I know - one private bus line. and the "Motocy"-Taxis of course, if you are a daring person (me, I wouldnt ride a MOTOCY taxi in busy On Nut Road).

but its of course about 7-8 km closer to downtown BKK, and at the huge Carrefour you can buy everything u need for daily life.

but difficult to give u an advice, you have to inspect the places by urself and then find out what is the better value for money. when it comes to location, On Nut Road is certainly the better deal..... just 10-15 minutes BTS ride to Asok, Nana and Siam.....

Hi AsiaWolfie, tks for your inputs. I do hav the same thoughts as you. I think I will probably go ahead with Suk 77 rather than Bang-na! Adios Amigo!
