English teaching job available in Sakon Nakhon, Thailand

Featured Replies

Dear All,

There is a vacant position of an English teacher now at Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University to start immediately because the new term is beginning on 15 Dec 2014.

Sakon Nakhon is a beautiful and serene province with plenty of culture of local ethnic people located near the Phuphan mountain in the north east of Thailand. It's only an hour flight from Don Mueng, Bangkok, and only one hour+ from two Thailand-Laos friendship bridges. Both low-cost Nok Air and Air Asia are now flying here daily (two flights for each airline).

You must be either native speakers or near native speakers with at least bachelor degrees in any fields, although those related to education, linguistics, applied linguistics are preferable. The salary is 19,000 with 8,000 baht housing allowance. This may not sound like much, but the cost of living here is relatively cheap and our foreign teachers are renting an apartment for about 3,000 baht at the most. Two Filipinos (1 female, 1 male) and an American male have been working with us for many years. The workload is about 16-18 periods (1 period = 50 mins) per week. As you are about to teach mostly English-major students, the subjects to be assigned could vary each semester.

If interested, please send your CVs in along with other relevant documents immediately at [email protected], or call either me at 0846448228 or the department secretary Ajarn Pracharat at 0982615189 for further information.

Thanks for your attention and consideration.
