Ianatlarge
Don't ask — I have volunteered to write a school speech, to be presented by grade 6 primary students, for the King's birthday / Father's Day, next Friday. Said speech to be given to primary school kiddies and their parents, in Kamphaeng Phet (so, English maybe not 100%). My question is, does anyone have a draft or a link to such a speech, which would give me an idea of what level of homily I should aim at? Much appreciated. SlyAnimal
I'd say it'd be best to clarify with your school on what they specifically want. e.g. Is it about wishing the King a happy birthday, or a speech thanking their fathers for being awesome dads. In general, just write to what you believe they want, which is probably just a speech saying how much they appreciate their fathers. Most of the people in attendance likely won't understand more than a handful of words, if you include some phrases which they can identify with, then the speech will probably be well received. Ianatlarge
True, I was hoping for an eg. Phrases is good. I will check that out.
