turnpike
Just bought a nice little 2 month old shi tzu pup at the weekend market in BKK, her left eye is blue like a husky's. Although I'm no dog expert, it appears normal in every way, she can see out of it, and it's quite an attractive feature. later I was thinking it might be due to inbreeding or something like that, but she's very robust, healthy and alert. anyone out there seen this before? Thanks, turnpike
turnpike
Here's a somewhat blurry picture of her. Got her for 2000 baht.
Crossy
Cute pup, needs to drink less beer though Odd eyes is quite common amongst pedigree dogs, yes it is caused by the selective breeding process although AFAIK there are no harmful side effects. Our Old English Sheepdog (Dulux dog) in the UK had odd eyes, he lived to a ripe old age and never had any vision problems. Nothing to worry about
