PIPO Ponyclub Review

Featured Replies

Took the family to the PIPO Pony Club of today.

It's off HWY 7, between Sukhumvit and Hwy 36.

Ticket Prices:

Farang: 250 baht
Thai: 100 Baht (also for farang with thai drivers license).
Children: 50 baht

Large covered area with 4 fenced off sections with Miniature
horses. It's like a "padding zoo" type of a place. You can buy food

to feed the horses as well.

One of the areas did have 2 full size horses.

Additional tickets can be purchased to ride the miniature horses
(200 baht for 4 rounds). The riding was passive sitting on the horse

while the horse is being lead by an attendant.

We tried to get some information before getting inside (talking
to the ticket girls in thai), but they where unable to describe it before
entering the place.

For my family it was a big disappointment, as both of my girls (10 &
12 yo) are experienced riders and where hoping to do some horse
back riding (like on full grown adult horses). The ticket girls did say

there was horse back riding inside ...

This place might be enjoyable for families with younger children, who

are not experienced in handling horses ...

Im Riding 8am at horse shoe point next wednesday. I road last week and almost got into a gallop, but my guide rode in front and tried to keep it to a canter. Beautiful horse. Maybe a little scar able, I prefer a war horse :)
