hELLO EVERYBODY,

SOMEBODY CAN EXPLAIN ME HOW i CAN SENT A SMS TO A THAI MOBILE PHONE BY USING INTERNET?

WAITING REPLY'S.

BEST REGARDS,

m jANSEN

Yes there is one free sms program availible if you join ICQ.com on their web page you can send SMS to thailand and they can respond provided you don't have a firewall.
ICQ only works for DTAC mobile phones, according to another topic here at this forum. AIS does not accept incoming free SMS from ICQ.
Hate to disagree George, but ICQ can be sent to both DTAC and AIS just leave off the 0 when using dialing the 01 555-1212 etc.

TLok, just sent one SMS to both a DTAC and a AIS phone, which I have here, but still after 2 hours - nothing!

Huh, when did you successfuly get one through?

The format is of course +661xxxxxxx (with no zero in the 01 area code)

George, I send them two to three times a week to my wifes AIS number I use the web page format and have never had a problem connecting to her, She on the other hand cannot send back to me because of my works firewall. It's usually just a call me message since her cell phone rates calling the U.S. are actually cheaper than mine. And i pay the bills anyway

Add On...................

I wonder if the AIS number needs to have SMS activated? But as I said ICQ.com has a listing of Phone Companies that you can send on. and AIS is on there just sent a message at 11:30 pm California time and it got thru no prob

Ahh the miracle of modern technology!!
