December 7, 201411 yr Popular Post 81,437 of my Skywards miles are expiring next month. I'm not flying soon so I'm giving away one free ticket to anyone who needs to fly home (assuming Thailand is not home) this month or next year. http://i.imgur.com/fLll4Ji.png Use the mileage calculator on the Emirates website to check if it falls within or under 81k miles. On the site, hover your mouse on Emirates Skywards and Business Rewards, then select Spending Miles from the sublinks presented. To give an example, a return saver award ticket for BKK to LHR requires 75000 miles. The ticket must be booked BEFORE the miles expire. Actual travel dates can be up to 12 months later. I'm often busy so if I don't respond immediately, please bear with me. PM me your itinerary and travel dates so I can check seat availability on your preferred flight. PM preferred. December 7, 201411 yr Author Am I sad for being suspicious of free offers from newbies? A tad sad perhaps. What would make you un-suspicious? Should I un-free the miles and un-gift them instead? Or should I un-do this offer, being an un-established member of this forum? What's wrong with gifting expiring miles to another human being? Is it un-acceptable? Un-allowed? Un-Thai? I'm not gifting my entire reirement account. Nor am I gifting my kidneys. 5000 or 10K posts do not make one less suspect. Edited December 7, 201411 yr by smarsani
December 7, 201411 yr Thank you for being generous and helping someone who probably can not afford to buy a ticket. It's Christmas time any way. Unfortunately there will always be smart asses who doubt anything offered or presented here.
December 7, 201411 yr Unfortunately there will always be smart asses who doubt anything offered or presented here. Nothing smart about it, just careful. Thailand has plenty of liars and cheats of all nationalities. Why should an online Thai forum be any different?

Quite true KK - my take on it exactly, but this time it appears a generous offer was made by a genuine person - well done Smarsani Edited December 7, 201411 yr by VBF

Nearly all the scams I have seen in online forums like this (and there have been plenty) have been from posters with only a handful of posts to their name. As for your offer being unacceptable or not allowed, I made no such suggestion.
December 7, 201411 yr ... this time it appears a generous offer was made by a genuine person - well done Smarsani Indeed.
December 9, 201411 yr Author A Thai friend of mine has an Irish friend who was low on funds and already on overstay for 8 months. With these miles he flew home to Dublin. He can at least spend Christmas with his family. Its sad that we live in such a negative and unforgiving generation but I realize its how the world turns. These days one is measured by one's exposure on the internet.
December 9, 201411 yr Am I sad for being suspicious of free offers from newbies? Yes you are, go and hide under a stone.
