PATTAYA: -- It's a marketing scheme as old as rice noodles: Dress up in ridiculous, DIY cosplay to sell some Pad Thai.

Suwan Suwannarin, a 54-year-old Pattaya man also known as “Uncle Kaek,” was featured on Morning News today for his awesome costume inspired by the interplanetary trophy hunters known as Predators.

Nothing wrong with that, good marketing gimmick.

Look at Mr Naam how he dresses......there's something to worry about.......................

Yes ... nothing wrong with being stupid as long as it makes money !

Insanity is the new "normal" ... for most it seems

Predator looks scary and intimidation. Should dress up like bumble bee(transformers), superman, batman, robin hood or a bikini clad ladyboy;)

Working 40 or more years from 9 to 5, like we do in the west, also involves a lot of insanity i think.

It's good to be different...He's making money.

Good he is Predator, for Alien ..would not be legal.

A Thai predator. Imagine that.

Good on coconuts always finding interesting and fun news stories. I've had some terrible khao pad and very ordinary pad thai in pattaya hope his is a bit better.

When I read the headline, I thought they had found a pedophile that was on the run....

Nice story.

So many articles about people ripping others off and wanting something for nothing.

Nice change. Here a hardworking man making an honest living with a little entrepreneurial / marketing skill.

When I read the headline, I thought they had found a pedophile that was on the run....

Yeah funny, so did I.

Good On Him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a cool idea...good for him...hope it catches on...put some excitement in purchasing Thai foods...

Yes,but is his Pad Thai any good ??

Nothing wrong with that, good marketing gimmick.

except no shirt which is a hygiene and health issue. Sweat from under his armpits flavouring your pad thai. It's is about as hygienic as him using the wok as a toilet.
