The crash occurred at 7.45am on the railroad running along the East-side of Pattaya and close to the Soi Kao Noi intersection, and was caught on CCTV from a nearby Air-Conditioning Showroom.

The driver, Khun Chetha aged 20, had to be extricated from the mangled wreckage of his car, while his girlfriend, who was riding in the front passenger seat, and his male friend, Khun Suwitcha aged 27, who was in the back-seat, sustained cuts and bruises and all 3 were taken to Hospital.

Sympathy ZERO, thankfully they never involved any innocent parties...

When will the Goverment start prosecuting these people....

Is it worth reporting such news? Or, is it dry day for news??

Tested for alcohol? Probably not.he will most likely be back to doing it again in a few days time

Just think that if he had been stopped at a checkpoint there's a good chance money would have changed hands and off he goes as drunk as he was a couple of minutes earlier.

No doubt there will be arrest figures produced after the Seven Dangerous Days to prove there was enforcement but what will never be known is how many drivers simply coughed off and went on their way. A second point would be how many of them were involved in an accident after leaving the checkpoint ?

Yes thankfully they didn't hit anybody.

The car is badly damaged and since the driver was drunk no payments from the insurance.

A very costly night out in Pattaya for them but no sympathies from me either.

Yes, it is worth reporting. Very much so. But where it falls down is no full name and shame, and info on whether police are preparing a battery of charges.

20 year old boy in a new Honda Jazz. Spoiled brat of rich family partying until the morning hours.

That's quite a normal thing to happen. Could have happened to myself some 45 years ago. Young, stupid, irresponsible.

Or, simply wait one week and report 10 or 12 at one go. Without any kind of enforcement, these events are more or less useless... about as useless as watching traffic, or driving in traffic, much less reading about traffic.
