WorkingTourist
How is the new year’s eve celebration in Krabi Town? I have been to Krabi Town once before where I visited the weekend market which had lots of food stalls and a stage with talent shows etc. I expect the new year celebration is something like that, but probably more stalls and a more “professional” stage show with countdown and fireworks. Are my expectations about right? I quite enjoyed celebrating new year’s eve in Chiang Mai last year, but Chiang Mai is a university town, so lots of young people and things that young people like, e.g. westernized music being played on the stage rather than folk music (หมอลำ). BlueEyedMonster
All of the local business people are telling me that so far this year it's quieter than normal so you should be able to find a place to stay fine I am considering going to Ao Nang to watch fireworks for new years since it's only a 20 min drive from Krabi town Does anyone want to join?
